At present time this is limited by hardware only, we are working on implementing software limitations as this chat service is used by more then single website and we need to allow each of them similar share of processing power. We were unable to perform many stress tests, so we monitor performance over time, so far we have seen between 10-110 concurent chatters overall in system (1 room is limited by whole system). If financial situation allows, we will definatelly invest in additional HW to support more and more chatters. So, as usage of this service grows gradually, so do we plan to grow our HW strength gradually.
