hi, I have just install this chat componant. And its really nice. The only problem I m having is, I cant use my joomla user daabase as its user database. Coz, I only can log in when i log in my site with the blastchat user ID. Please help me to solve this problem. When any other user logs in he cant se the chat. It shows an error massage. Plz help me.

BlastChat automatically integrates into your joomla database, user logged into your website can enter chat and his username will be automatically used inside chat as well (client does not work under Joomla 1.5, yet).

What error message do you see? When you are reporting problem, please provide as much information as you can.

I have the same problem. A registered user gets the folowing errormessage when he enter the chatmodule:

Error 0005 : Er deed zich een error voor, contacteer de webmasterDB function failed with error number 1062

which Joomla version are you running?

There are two unique keys for that table:
UNIQUE KEY `sec_code` (`sec_code`),
UNIQUE KEY `session_id` (`session_id`),

Can you check blastchatc_users table if sec_code 9e4e42f960b59e53d5af7d691f3237ab isn't there but is assigned to other userid then 64 ?

(You can always identify problematic username and remove it from table, then delete that user as well in blastchat website configuration.

ga naar de tabel: blastchatc_users.
zoek daar naar het id: 64
(maak even een backup van de tabellen voor de zekerheid )
als die er niet is: delete dan de row waar de sec_code: 9e4e42f960b59e53d5af7d691f3237ab is.
probeer dan opnieuw naar de chat te gaan
