I have just installed blastchat and get the error message on site: Error 0002 : Error has occured, contact your webmasterIncorrect data in 'blastchatc' table

any ideas???

Yes I did before I posted this thread. I should have said that, I got this error page for both links you pasted:

The Forum is currently offline.
We switched to FireBoard, please use menu link from our frontpage.

Simply search our forums for "0002" and you will find those two topics.

Anyway, did you changed your website URL recently? Or did you do any database change?

I searched through the forums and it kept directing me to a joomla board post that doesn't exist anymore. Can you please just tell me how to fix it here? also no, I havent changed the website URL but recently moved database from old site to revamped site, so maybe thats why? anyway, your component Blastchat sounds really good and I'd like to use this, if I can manage to get this error thing fixed.

Best is to start from scratch:

1. Uninstall blastchat component.
2. Delete tables blastchatc and blastchatc_users from your database
3. go to www.blastchat.com and enter "Your registration"
4. Select your website
5. Delete your website registration (all rooms and users information will be deleted)
6. Install BlastChat component and register it from joomla/mambo backend (i.e. completely fresh installation)
