simply right click on .php file and find menu "Open with" then submenu will give you options like Wordpad or Notepad or some other text editor (even windows Word should be able to do it)

did you try to use jExplorer? (does not work?) Explore and read what it can do.

Prutkar, I'm sorry to be so daft with all of this. I am making the changes to the file, now. I need step by step instructions.

After I've made the changes, save them. How do I zip that file again with the component zip file to install it?

I am making the changes to the file now.

1. make backup copy of blastchatc.zip file you downloaded
2. open blastchac.zip file in Winzip
3. drag/drop edited file(s) to winzip
4. close and if prompted save winzip file
5. Install this new .zip file you made
