ima noob to blastchat so this may be an elementary question
first of all... from what i have seen of blastchat... this is an awesome setup!!!! i as made moderator of my groups chat and they use your hat client on their webpage for our groupies to talk on and its awesome!!

im old school form the days of "talkcity" and their downloadable client "perch" that u could download and use instead of having to sign in thru the web on a browser. is there such a windows client available for blastchat? this would greatly reduce the # of times i accidentially close my browser and log myslf out of the chat

BlastChat is specifically designed for websites, to allow website visitors to chat with each other using browser directly on that website, not as standalone chat on enduser's computer. (Future might bring something like that, but it is not planned now).

If your SuperAdmin did not disable "Detach functionality" then you can detach chat frame from main browser window to a new separate browser window. This new window acts same as would your downloadable client that you are asking for.

I know this is not exactly answer you are looking for, but this is best I can respond right now.

that much info that fast.. i cant complain!! thank you!! i'm usin IE7 and usin the chat on 1 tab w/ the other group pages on serveral other open tabs.. it works great as is
