Firstly - Great Component!

I installed BC on my server - it worked like a charm before I removed guest access and global features - we are still testing it. As soon as I changed those none of the users are able to login to the default chatroom without specifying guest names - also because I have disabled guest access to the default room it says I (+ any other user) need to be a member of the site to use the room. Any suggestions?

joomla 1.0.12
jsmf bridge - latest
smf forum + some mods
puarcade
cb
group jive
+ some other minor components and mods

- hosted on eukhost server

As long as you are using default Joomla _users table and default Joomla _session table, all should work fine.

Fact, that it was working tells us it will work again.

1. If you change those options back to previous state, it starts to work?
2. What is last change you have made to your Joomla configuration? (before you figured it stopped to work)

3. If you could send an email to me with your website URL and some temporary usernameassword to login to your website, we would resolve it fastest.

Thanks for the quick reply. I couldn't remeber what teh default settings were so all I did was enable the global features again and now it seems to be logging all the users back in. Would you still like a username + pass to check my site out?

yes please (this is highly irregular that turning off global features would have cause it), use "contact us" form, do not forget to write your URL in email as well

Sorry that I haven't replied earlier - work issues. Check your pm with for a user and pass. BTW we have been testing the site and what seems to happen now is that when you access the chat-rooms it randomly tells u that u need to be a member to access (even though you are logged in) - the you refresh the page a few times and eventually it loads up - not sure if it's supposed to happen. Let me know what you find out. Once again thanks for the help and the power component.

I think it's because of you are using
smf login module.
that module is not using the original joomla mysql tables is it?
or are you using cb login module?
