Issues 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have a couple of weird issues. I am setting up a couple of roooms for a class I am running.

1. Every once in a while, we get a dialog box that pops up with the letter a in it. Nothing else.

2. Once a user goes inactive, we cannot seem to fined out how to get it so they can be active. It also sets them inactive after 15 minutes or less.

Any thoughts?

1. fixed, that was a debug message leftover
2. "set's them inactive" = they get removed out of room with inactivity message printed?

Awesome. on #1. Thanks.

A person logs in to the site and goes to chat. They click on a room and go in. They click signout or click on rooms to go to a different room. When they go to go back into the room it gives this message and does not let them back in.

You have been inactive in the room

Tell users to clear cookies and cache (some browsers, some IE versions, ignore no-cache definitions).

Some cookies code was recently adjusted, and I am unable to force browser into creating new ones.

I tried this and it did not work. I empties both the cache and the cookies.

I am running IE7.

Am I signing out wrong or something? I was able to sign in to a room, clicked sign out, then tried to go back in, it gave the error.

By the way, thanks for all of the prompt help. I really appreciate it.

Please, copy/paste error message, it helps if I need to take a look at code. (is it happening just to you or you know of other users?)

(IE7 not enough to clear cookies and cache, you need to restart IE after clearing.)
