I just installed the 2.2 module (uploaded/installed zip file to admin). I'm running Joomla 1.0.11. The installation said it was successful, and the module appears in my Module Manager. I have assigned it to the left column, but in its place on the home page (and all others) is displayed this message:
Missing file /[system path to my site]/joomla/components/com_blastchatc/dynamic.blastchatc.php
The file is indeed not there. Any clues?
Thanks,
matt

By the way, in studying the installation instructions for the 2.1 version, I noticed it says I must register my server in the admin tool, but it doesn't explain how this is done and I can't find anything about it in my admin tool. Is this the step I'm missing?
Thanks,
matt

I would try a reinstall and perhaps to redownload the installation files.
I just installed it on my website like 25+ times and all the files were there so I guess something went wrong with the installation.

You need "BlastChat Client 2.2" (Component) installed to make "BlastChat Client 2.2. module" to work. That's all.
Client 2.x has registration of your website in admin backend under BlastChat - Registration.

Peter,
That was it. Thanks. It wasn't clear to me that I needed to install two things. I'm a total Joomla noob - thanks for the hand holding.
