I've just downloaded the blastchat 2.2 module. In installed it inro my joomla 1.x.x. enviroment no problem. But when I go to the frontend, I see the published module in the left column, but also there is this ....
home/development/joomla/components/com_blastchatc/dynamic.blastchatc.php
can someone advise what the issue is please. Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I havn't found any documentation. I'm not sure what, if any, extra things I need to install.

have you installed the blastchat component too? (latest version) because that file is included from the blastchat component

module is useless without component, component is the main part, module is only a additional functionality

which file do I download for the component, or is that also in the module .zip file. I don't think I need to install the client zip do I ?

ok thanks for the info. I've now installed the component and it looks much better on the front end. Just need to set up the server link so hopefully that'll be it.
