Who's Online Icon 8 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I can see on some sites, the icons and names of those online. Yellow for those who are members, etc. How can I add that to my website? Currently, mine just tells me x members online, x guests online, etc?

Thanks

- yellow smiley indicates members who are inside chat
- you must download and install BlastChat client 2.3 and BlastChat client 2.3 module (this module then can replace you current "who's online" module)

I have both the client and the module installed but I don't know how to get the icons. Maybe its to do with the config?

Also, when Blastchat is installed, pages no longer validate based on the W3C standards. Are you considering standards as well?

Regards

Is it config?
yes, it has to do with module configuration, did you explore it? Did you enable things you want module to show or not to show? If not, take a look.

Standards:
Are you referring to BlastChat component or module?

yes, we consider standards, but we consider cross-browser compatibility more (every browser interprets standards differently, not sure if you are aware of it, are you?).

BlastChat module is GNU/GPL, feel free to adjust it to any form you desire. If you do so, we will be glad to present and promote your work and allow other admins to download it from our Download area.

to Prutkar: IE 8 is going to be more compatible with the standards so it will be easier to make it cross-browser compatible
