FireFox main browser we support...it should work as well. It had to be some error internal session state you run into which should clear when session expires and is removed from the server.
I changed my browser (Firefox to Opera),did what you advised and now everything works fine. Thanks for the very fast replies. I´m sure I made the right decision choosing Blastchat!

thx so far. But that´s what I´ve already tried. I registered myself on www.blastchat.com and activated my account. When I try to log into the Joomla backend registration form, as you described above, it always says "You are not authorized to view this ressource." Any idea how to fix it?
