I am assuming you downloaded BlastChat Client for Joomla and you installed component correctly.

Step 1: goto your joomla admin backend, find menu Commponents - BlastChat Client - Registration and register your website with blastchat service (you must have an account with blastchat)
Step 2: create new menu item, and point it to BlastChat Client component (consult joomla documentation if you do not know how to do it)
Step 3: Explore joomla admin backend, menu Components - BlastChat Client -> Configuration-Client AND Configuration-Server
Step 4: optional - download and install BlastChat Module (combines whoisonline and whoischattin, i.e. replaces joomla default whoisonline module, does work with CB)

(SOLVED) THANKS FOR THE HELP...Just installed and not having much luck in understanding how this posts to my website or what steps are needed to make it happen. Not understanding configuration...do I have to create a menu...category...what...it asks for a url...but what url...does this work with joomla CB...yup...I'm a dummy I guess
